A Statement About Security

Security is paramount to us and to the virtual events and virtual business environments that we support.  Gaining the trust of clients, partners and end users requires the most secure, scalable and robust platform.

At a recent virtual event held on our platform, a user was able to access and view videos without paying the required fee.  Michael Coates, Web Security Lead at Mozilla, discovered the vulnerability.  Michael authored a blog posting about the experience.  Our developers worked with Michael and determined the root cause to be a mis-configured login page.

That page was used for testing and was never meant to be available externally. Unfortunately, it was, but thanks to Michael’s responsible actions, we were able to resolve the issue quickly.  No other users leveraged this vulnerability to gain access to the videos.

Thank you, Michael, for notifying us.
